Shirley, a native of Western North Carolina, was born near Hendersonville, NC and is a 1971 graduate of Western Carolina University and Christian Life School of Theology, Columbus, GA with degrees in Elementary Education and Theology.

 

Shirley is a frequent speaker at churches, conferences and retreats, primarily in the Southeast, but also internationally, including Mexico, Scotland, Honduras, Russia and Greece.  Currently, Shirley and her husband Frank travel extensively giving oversight to many ministers and their wives. Covenant Life Ministries was birthed as a need for this kind of pastoral ministry.

 

In 1995, Shirley began a ladies outreach to female inmates at various nearby jails. This ministry has continued to this day, producing much much fruit and testimonies of healing and salvations. She also coordinated, developed and trained the Life Ministry Teams and Ladies Mentoring Program at New Covenant Church, bringing deep spiritual healing to many.
